So many of these shoots I can start with the words... when these two arrived I could see the fear in Idmar's eyes. Guys just don't like engagement shoots. There are the exceptions, but mostly... WE DON'T.
But Idmar got a good braai out of this shoot: whenever he has to do something he doesn't like, then he gets to braai the meat he like or something like that. And the other way around. So these two try and compromise.
Engagement shoots in the bushveld and at Intiem are always great. The Vygekraal wild Fig trees are beautiful. Almost impossible to capture, and then we shot the rest at the old house. With broken windows and peeling wallpaper, it still makes for interesting moody photos.
These two are fun, interesting and we enjoyed talking about everything in the short time we had. From work, to how they met etc etc etc.
Their wedding is only in 2023, but already looking forward to their awesome wedding at Intiem. Esmarie & Idmar... let's start counting down the day to your incredible wedding...
